Kinderdijk Windmills

Kinderdijk is a national park featuring many different windmills along a small waterway. The windmills were used to punp water out of the sunken fields so they could be cultivated. During WWII, the resistance signalled one another with how the blades were left immobile, with different "hands of the clock face" providing coded mesages. the larger ones were also homes and its pretty tight inside.
